Everyone Dreams of Burning Alive
6th - 7th June 2026
as part of Voidspace Live Festival 2026
Two rooms. One holds you, one holds me.
How can I prove to you that I’m conscious?
TheMissingTheatre’s new durational, interactive performance poses a question: what happens when one mind tries to hold another?
Surrounded by a bespoke aleatoric sound system of live collected audio & original score, participants will feed in their own experiences to build consciousness.
You are invited to explore the emergence of empathy and sentience, and attempt to transfer that which cannot be transferred.
Praise for Everyone Dreams of Burning Alive:
“An ambitious and unsettling piece. It was massively rewarding to those who gave repeat visits.”
Immersive Rumours
Immersive Rumours
“The whole experience is intangibly sublime, a fleeting but bespoke encounter that evolves with and around its audience.”
A Shiny Life for Me
A Shiny Life for Me
“The fleeting nature of the performance adds to its fascination, deeply connecting to the intrinscially human core that is so difficult to put into words.”
